About Dino & Car Crawler
Dino & Car Crawler sits in the Quantum Heroes Dinoster range of transforming dinosaur robot toys; this page has the specifications, the photos and what the box holds.
Dino & Car Crawler is a three-mode build — longer to run than the two-mode shelf, and the step count is the point.
It stands 11 inches.
If a panel refuses to move, something earlier in the sequence is still closed; going back a step fixes it far more often than force does.

Dino-Earth, and where Dino & Car Crawler fits
Before the shelf there was a screen. Quantum Heroes Dinoster is an original series from FunnyFlux Entertainment in South Korea, distributed in China by Alpha Group and credited to the Educational Dinoster System. Dino & Car Crawler is one of the transforming vehicles the series put on screen years before the plastic existed.
Four kids, one parallel Earth
The series asks a child to accept a single premise — a quantum gate, and a parallel Dino-Earth where dinosaurs never went extinct. After that it is four kids who travel across to protect them and get home before supper.
The four kids are called Lucio, Oz, Delby and Jay Min, and the series keeps each of them in the same Dinoster:
- Lucio — Raptor Dinoster, red suit
- Oz — Stego Dinoster, green suit
- Delby — Ankylo Dinoster, yellow suit
- Jay Min — Ptera Dinoster, blue suit
Professor Laura Liu runs it from the base: the hi-tech quantum suits do the surviving, and the transforming vehicles carry the team to the danger.
The danger Dino & Car Crawler was drawn against
The danger has a name. Bex Hunter, the villain of all three seasons, takes living dinosaurs apart into Armorsaurs and wants both Earths for himself. Joining that mission means taking something back and saving it on the way home — which is precisely what the mighty fleet Dino & Car Crawler sits in is for.
Episodes that put the triceratops team on screen
Each episode is a little over eleven minutes long; the full run is three seasons and seventy-eight episodes. For Dino & Car Crawler, the triceratops thread starts in these episodes:
- The Head-Butting Battle
- The Great Iguanadon Migration
- The Living Fossil Fuss
- The Triceratops Mess
- Rumbling with the Dinos Down Below
- Dancing with Dinosaurs
The small missions are the good ones
It opens on Welcome to Dino Earth and ends on a showdown, with the Super Dino Suit in the middle of the run. The episodes people remember are the domestic ones — a Carnotaurus teleports into school, a baby raptor needs a rescue, an egg will not wait, a dino dentist loses a tooth, a living fossil turns up, a magnetic Mononykus ruins a camp, a giant Iguanadon migration blocks the way.
Which dinosaurs the series actually uses
The series does not make its dinosaurs up. The giant end of the list is where the mighty builds come from: Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, T-Rex and the rest of what the crew has met:
- Woolly Mammoth
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Quetzalcoatlus
- Triceratops
- Plesiosaurus
- Titanoboa
- Pterosaur
- Carnotaurus
The shape every episode keeps
What a child learns from an episode is modest and true: the team studies the animal, keeping the danger away long enough to understand it. The English dub keeps the names the original used, so the thing called a Triceratops is the same Triceratops in every country, and saving it is a mighty result for eleven minutes. One episode is about a magnetic dinosaur, one about a dino dentist, one about a pterosaur egg; the animals are real even when the science is not.
How to see it in English
The English version for the United States has been up since 28 August 2023; the original episodes aired in South Korea first. Watch first, then pick: a child who has seen the episode already knows what Dino & Car Crawler is supposed to do.
Quantum Heroes Dinoster transforming dinosaur robot toys, by mode count
Mode count is the decision that matters on this shelf. Two-mode robots are one sequence learned once, three-mode builds add a choice, and the four-mode mega build breaks into vehicles instead of one body.
Quantum Heroes Dinoster, in one paragraph
Quantum Heroes Dinoster is the toy line of a South Korean series about four kids who protect dinosaurs on a parallel Earth. Every box is a transforming dinosaur robot: a vehicle that folds into something on two feet, sized between five and sixteen inches, moulded in ABS, with no batteries in any of it.
