About Lucio
Lucio is one of the Quantum Heroes Dinoster transforming dinosaur robot toys: crew figure, moulded ABS, and no batteries in the box.
Lucio is the pilot, not the hardware — a multi-joint figure in the red quantum suit, with light and sound and no battery to feed.
It stands 8.86 inches. It is colour-locked to Lucio — Raptor Dinoster is the Dinoster Lucio flies.
No batteries anywhere in this box, including the parts that light up.

What Lucio is a piece of
Before the shelf there was a screen. Quantum Heroes Dinoster is an original series from FunnyFlux Entertainment in South Korea, distributed in China by Alpha Group and credited to the Educational Dinoster System. Lucio inherits it directly: nothing in the line reads as a plain dinosaur toy, because the design came off the screen.
Who travels through the gate
Four kids travel through a quantum gate to Dino-Earth, a world where dinosaurs never went extinct, and they go back across each time trouble finds the dinosaurs they protect.
Four kids, four Dinosters — Lucio, Oz, Delby and Jay Min, one pilot to a machine:
- Lucio — Raptor Dinoster, red suit
- Oz — Stego Dinoster, green suit
- Delby — Ankylo Dinoster, yellow suit
- Jay Min — Ptera Dinoster, blue suit
Professor Laura Liu runs it from the base: the hi-tech quantum suits do the surviving, and the transforming vehicles put the team wherever the danger is.
The villain on the other side
The danger has a name. Bex Hunter, the villain of all three seasons, takes living dinosaurs apart into Armorsaurs and wants the whole of Dino-Earth for himself. Joining that mission means taking something back and saving it on the way home — which is more or less what the mighty fleet Lucio sits in is for.
Episodes that put the raptor team on screen
Each episode is roughly eleven minutes long; the full run is three seasons and seventy-eight episodes. The episodes below carry the raptor side of the mission Lucio sits in:
- Baby Raptor Rescue
- Big Time Roddy
- Attack of the Tiny Dinos!
- The Tale of Trina and Blue
- Raptor Roddy Goes to School
- Lucio's Dino-Mite Transformation
From Welcome to Dino Earth to the showdown
The first season is called Welcome to Dino Earth, the Super Dino Suit comes in season two, and somewhere in between a Carnotaurus teleports out of a school corridor. What the series does best is domestic: a baby raptor rescue, an egg that hatches early, a dino dentist, a living fossil, a magnetic Mononykus and a giant Iguanadon migration.
The bestiary behind the robots
What makes the line easy to explain is that the dinosaurs are real ones. T-Rex, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and a giant pterosaur or two are only the start of the bestiary:
- Pachycephalosaurus
- Apatosaurus
- Tarbosaurus
- Woolly Mammoth
- Pterosaur
- Triceratops
- Iguanadon
- Hatzegopteryx
What the team actually does with an animal
Each episode is built so a child learns something while keeping up: the team studies the animal, names it, and the danger ends up outside. The English dub keeps the original names, which is why a dinosaur called a Triceratops in one country is called a Triceratops in all of them — and why saving one feels mighty at five. One episode is about a magnetic dinosaur, one about a dino dentist, one about a pterosaur egg; the science is silly, the animals are not.
The English run, and what it costs to check
The original aired in South Korea first. The United States release is the English dub, streaming since 28 August 2023. The series costs nothing to watch, so it costs nothing to check whether Lucio is the one.
Transforming dinosaur robot toys: what Quantum Heroes Dinoster does differently
There is no electronics ladder to climb here — no batteries anywhere — so the ladder is mode count: two, three, four, or a pack with several complete robots inside.
Quantum Heroes Dinoster, for anyone arriving cold
Quantum Heroes Dinoster puts the vehicles from the series on a shelf. Each one is a transforming dinosaur robot — vehicle to robot and back, five to sixteen inches tall, ABS with polished joints, nothing to charge and nothing to replace.
